One can gather from its name that the rare resource can be collected in the Blackmire, but exactly how to get it is far less obvious. Here’s how to get Blackmire Heartwood in Enshrouded.

Where to Get Blackmire Heartwood in Enshrouded

You can harvest Blackmire Heartwood from the massive trees in the Blackmire. If you’ve been swinging at these trees with an axe to no avail, you wouldn’t be the only one. These trees are so massive that a mere axe can’t get through them. You need a pickaxe to collect Blackmire Heartwood in Enshrouded.

The fact that you need a pickaxe instead of a regular axe to chop down a tree is the biggest roadblock standing between players and their Blackmire Heartwood. Once you have your pickaxe in hand, however, you’re ready to set off to the Blackmire to finally get your hands on some Blackmire Heartwood.

What Trees Give You Blackmire Heartwood in Enshrouded

The Blackmire is a massive forest area in the top left portion of the map with no shortage of trees, but not all of them contain Blackmire Heartwood. Heartwood can only be collected from the gigantic trees covered in moss in the Blackmire. These trees can’t be found anywhere else in Enshrouded and tower above all the others. These trees can be found all over the region.

Once you’ve found one, equip your pickaxe and start swinging away at the monstrous trunk. You will have to hack your way through the outer layer of the tree first, which will provide you with Blackmire Bark. Once you crack through the top layer of bark, you will reach the Blackmire Heartwood you’ve been looking for. You can tell you’ve made it through the thick outer layer when the tree turns from dark brown to a lighter color with visible wood grain.

You can use your Blackmire Heartwood to make rustic furniture pieces to decorate your home or base.
