How to Find the Hotline Miami Reference in Anger Foot

Put Carpenter Brut on in the background.

Anger Foot is developed by Free Lives, and published by Devolver Digital. Jacket, the main character from Hotline Miami, another Devolver Digital title has become sort of an unofficial mascot for the publisher who has been featured in other titles as part of crossovers, easter eggs, and references. Jacket can also be found in Anger Foot, and even kicked in the face. Here is how you can find this Hotline Miami reference in Anger Foot.

Hotline Miami Reference in Anger Foot: Jacket Location

Jacket can be found in the Back-Alleys level in the first main area of Anger Foot. This is the level between 4 and 5.

The path to him is pretty straightforward.

  • From the first room, break down the door and keep going straight, and then make your way towards the stairs on the left
  • Now, in the alley, ascend the stairs and then move right
  • Follow down the path, and head left at the end
  • At the end of the alley, behind a fence, you’ll see Jacket nodding to the music and carrying his iconic baseball bat.
  • You can’t get close to him from here, but you can get a better look by climbing the dumpster on the left.

Can You Kick Jacket in Anger Foot?

You can actually kick Jacket even though he’s unreachable through the normal path. However, Steam user S8tnz found a way to get to him and kick him as well. Here’s how to do just that.

Instead of going straight, take a left from the opening area and ascend the stairs.

  • Ascend the stairs and go left
  • Now, head to the end until you see a trash bag.
  • This is the tricky part. You need to first jump on the trash bag, followed by the edge of the right wall, and then from there, jump on the left wall.
  • Now, jump on the AC outdoor unit and make your way forward
  • Head to the second AC outdoor unit and jump on it. Jump on the wall next to it and walk to the edge. You will see Jacket at the bottom left. Make your way down.
  • Now, you can finally see him up close and kick him if you want.

That’s all there is to it. Jacket doesn’t fight back or anything, and we’re assuming players weren’t even intended to get up close and personal with him. However, since he’s in Anger Foot’s domain, getting kicked in the teeth comes with the territory.
