Super Mario 3D World Character Guide

Players who fire up Super Mario 3D World for the first time will have four playable characters to choose from; they’ll unlock Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy later in the game. Similar to Super Mario Bros. 2 on the NES, the list of heroes includes Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach and Toad, each with unique abilities. You can beat the game with any of these characters, but achieving 100 percent completion involves using them all, as certain levels have character specific switches.
