The Sledgehammer is a new melee weapon added with Season 4: Reloaded for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone that brings the power at close range. Here is how to get the Sledgehammer in MW3 and Warzone.
How to Unlock Sledgehammer in MW3 and Warzone
The Sledgehammer can be unlocked by completing five Season 4 Week 5 challenges. It will be available to unlock through these specific challenges until Season 4 ends, then players will have to unlock it from the Armory once the season is over.
There are a total of 21 Week 5 challenges to be completed among MW3 multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone modes. Only five challenges of the week need to be done to unlock the Sledgehammer. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile players will have to spend Arsenal Coins in the Arsenal Store to unlock the melee weapon.
Here are all the Season 4 Week 5 challenges that can be completed:
MW3 Multiplayer
- Get 30 Operator assists
- Get 15 Operator One Shot One Kills with recommended shotguns
- Get 12 Operator kills with Claymores, Proximity Mines, or C4
- Get 10 Operator kills with the gun-butt of a recommended weapon
- Perform three finishing moves on enemy Operators
- Get three operator melee double kills
- Get two Operator Fury kills with a recommended weapon
MW3 Zombies
- Get 250 One Shot One Kills with a Pack-a-Punched recommended shotgun
- Get 75 kills with the gun-butt of a recommended weapon
- Get 75 kills with Claymores, Proximity Mines, or C4
- Complete 10 contracts
- Get 10 kills without being hit 20 times with a recommended melee weapon
- Perform five finishing moves on Mercs
- Get five rapid kills 30 times with a recommended assault rifle
COD Warzone
- In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator kills in the North Region (Gatehouse, Keep, Terraces)
- In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator kills in the South (Ground Zero)
- In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator kills in the East (Konni Outpost, Lighthouse, Pier, Winery)
- In Warzone Fortune’s Keep, get 10 Operator kills in the West (Graveyard, Overlook, Town)
- In Warzone, place in the top 10 five times
- In Warzone, complete 10 contracts
- In Warzone, open 50 loot caches
