Does Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Have Crossplay Support?

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will have full crossplay between Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This was confirmed in the recent community update for August 2024.

However, crossplay is still limited to the campaign and PvE modes. For the PvP mode, “Eternal War” crossplay will be split between PC players in one pool (Steam & EGS) and console players in the other one (PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S). This makes sense, and the developers have explained that it’s split this way for fairness and balancing purposes. The PvP/PvE modes are also not playable through LAN play.

Players also can completely disable crossplay functionality as well. This is especially useful if you don’t want to join up with PC or console players, for whatever reason.

In addition to crossplay, the developers have confirmed that Space Marine 2 also has cross-save support through the platform Prism Ray Online Services (PROS).
