Hypercharge: Unboxed, the FPS/TPS multiplayer game that takes you into battles as a toy action figure, has recently launched on Xbox and has sold nearly 50,000 copies in just five days.

Hypercharge: Unboxed is one of the world’s latest indie games to achieve worldwide success. The title has multiple modes like singleplayer, co-op, and even multiplayer where you can verse other real players in toy battles. It also supports split-screen gameplay, so you can play with your friends at home.

Developed by Digital Cybercherries, Hypercharge originally debuted four years ago in 2020 on Nintendo Switch and PC, and after gaining publicity from other news sites and personalities like Jake Lucky over the years, it gained a wide following. To date, the shooter has over 3,500 positive reviews on Steam and it’s still flourishing.

On May 31, 2024, Hypercharge finally debuted on Xbox after being developed for the last few years and its release achieved massive success. In just five days, the title sold nearly 50,000 in copies on the platform alone and acquired 600 reviews with an overall average rating of 4.6 out of 5.0 stars. At a base game price, excluding taxes and fees and rounded out to 50,000 copies sold, Digital Cybercherries made $1,499,500 in sales.
