Fortnite has added a handful of anime skins to their popular battle royale in recent years, such as My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball Z, and Attack on Titan (bring this one back, Epic, PLEASE). Still, there’s definitely room for more – here are eight anime skins that need to be in Fortnite.

8 Anime Skins That Fortnite Needs

Edward Elric – Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

You can’t deny that Edward Elric would be a sick addition to Fortnite. Not only is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood one of the best anime of all time, but the main protagonist Edward is a great fit for the battle royale’s universe. I mean, he’s got a metal arm and leg, for starters; Midas would love him. Not to mention his unwavering resolve to save the world and take out anyone who stands in his path.

Guts – Berserk

Name a more iconic anime character; I’ll wait. Guts from Berserk has arguably one of the most tragic backstories ever told and a penchant for revenge. He would be perfect for Fortnite, and something tells me only the sweatiest players would main him; you’d admit defeat if you made it to the final few circles and saw someone wearing a Guts skin. Epic Games could even include his Cannon Arm as a limited-time Mythic, like Korra’s Waterbending.

Ryuko Matoi – Kill la Kill

We need more badass anime women in Fortnite, and Ryuko Matoi from Kill la Kill would be perfect. Imagine a Battle Pass with her where you unlocked her Kamui Senketsu version as an alternate style. Her iconic Scissor Blade could be her Pickaxe and she could have her Scissor Blade case as her Back Bling. Ugh, I need it now.

Sanrio Characters

Okay, I know this isn’t technically anime, but it’s close enough. If you’re a Sanrio girlie like me, you’ll know how groundbreaking this would be. Epic Games wouldn’t even need to include character skins—they could just make Sanrio accessories. A Hello Kitty balloon glider? Baku back bling? Kuromi weapon wraps? YES, PLEASE. I’m telling you, on behalf of all the other Sanrio lovers, we would empty our bank accounts for this. It’s worth every penny.

Jotaro Kujo – JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders

Jotaro Kujo is the best JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure protagonist and I’ll happily die on that hill. Not to mention he’s inspired by the iconic Clint Eastwood; if that isn’t enough reason to have him in Fortnite, I don’t know what is. Imagine an Emote that turns him into his Stand, Star Platinum – amazing.

Asuka Langley Soryu – Neon Genesis Evangelion

I’m surprised this isn’t in Fortnite already; Asuka Langley Soryu seems like the perfect fit. She looks like a skin made for the battle royale. In the anime, Asuka pilots a badass mech called Evangelion Unit-02—could you imagine an alternate unlockable style or an emote that lets you play as her mech?! I’d pay so, so much money for that.

Tanjiro Kamado – Demon Slayer

Tanjiro Kamado is another anime character I’m so shocked hasn’t already made its way into Fortnite, especially given the anime’s immense popularity. Tanjiro’s Demon Slayer abilities would make the perfect Mythics, and he could even have his iconic Nichirin Swords as a Pickaxe and the wooden box he carries his demon sister Nezuko around in as Back Bling. Come on, Epic Games – this one writes itself.

Monkey D. Luffy – One Piece

No anime character makes more sense to be in Fortnite than One Piece’s Monkey D. Luffy. The King of the Pirates has it all: great character design, a hilarious moveset, and an incredible fan base that would go wild to purchase their favorite hero in their favorite battle royale. Luffy’s Gum-Gum powers would make the perfect Mythic – imagine the Chain of Hades that whips enemies from afar, except it’s a stretched arm using Gum-Gum Pistol. Hilarious. He could even be a Boss on the map; defeat him and he drops a Gum-Gum Fruit that gives you powers.

According to Fortnite dataminers, Monkey D. Luffy and One Piece, in general, could be on their way to the Epic Games battle royale in the future, though take that with a grain of salt. Either way, I’ll be crossing all my fingers and toes.
