Is Nightingale Coming Out for Console?

As of now, there are no plans for a console version of NightingaleThe game’s official FAQ states that Nightingale “is currently PC only”, and that’s it. The same is true for the game’s official Discord, where the most immediate news is posted in advance. But none of them have included any console announcements or anything similar.

While the game might be too much for a handheld like the Nintendo Switch to run, it would be a perfect fit for consoles like Xbox Series X or PS5, much like many other recent survival games that have been hitting at least one of these platforms such as Palworld or Enshrouded. Unfortunately, there have been no signs of that happening for a while.

Developers are currently focusing on new updates, content, and bug fixing for the Early Access period, as well as preparing the recently announced Offline Mode for the game, as this has been one of the most demanded features since its release. So, if we ever get to see a console release, chances are that it won’t be happening anytime soon.

But this is not a reason to give up hope just yet. Depending on how well development goes during the next few months, it is possible that we might see an upcoming announcement. But don’t get your hopes up just yet, as the game has just become public, and there’s still a long way to go. And if you’re still on the fence about whether you should get it or not, you can always watch a few streamers and grab yourself some Twitch Drops while you’re at it.
