How to Get Wolf Armor in Minecraft

The resources you will need for the Wolf Armor in Minecraft are as follows:

  • 6 Armadillo Scutes
  • 1 Crafting Table
  • 1 good boy (Wolf) to put the armor on

Armadillo Scutes can be obtained from Armadillos by brushing them or just waiting for them to drop. They drop about every half a dozen minutes (it varies, but in most cases, it’s going to be under ten minutes). If you need help with getting the Armadillo Scutes, check out how to tame, feed, and breed Armadillos in Minecraft.

The crafting table is, of course, made with four wooden planks. Or, you can find it in the various settlements throughout the world of Minecraft.

For obtaining a wolf, we have a detailed guide on how to tame a Wolf in Minecraft.

Now, when you’ve gotten all the parts for this contraption and have your Wolf sitting next to you, watching you as you craft its armor, you’re ready for the layout for the Wolf Armor crafting. It resembles a school chair or an “H” without the top-right part.

Wolf Armor is very grateful for maintenance since it does not have any durability associated with it. Despite this being good news for you, that still sadly implies that this armor will probably outlast your wolf. It’s destroyable by lava, of course.

That’s all for this guide. I truly hope your Wolf Armor will protect your dear pets from peril.
