The company has announced today that it has already scheduled its next Internet-based Nintendo Direct special, and it’s going to take place on June 11th at 7 AM PDT, just hours before the show floor opens for E3 in Los Angeles.

This should be the “big one” for the company, as it’ll mark the first time that we see the new Wii U line-up for the months ahead, including a look at a new 3D Mario game from the producers behind Super Mario Galaxy, as well as Mario Kart and the Namco/Nintendo cross-over brawler Super Smash Bros.  Other games are likely to be revealed as well.

Nintendo will also be holding a media-based get-together inside E3 before the show floor hits at noon, where attendees are likely to get hands-on with most (if not all) of these games before the flood of visitors hit the floor.  We’ll be sure to check out what the company has to offer and provide you details soon thereafter…
