Once you’re free to explore Kalm at the beginning of Chapter 2, Aerith will ask Cloud if he wants to climb the clock tower with her – but what if you say no? Here’s what happens if you decline Aerith’s date in Kalm in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Should You Go on a Date With Aerith in Kalm in FF7 Rebirth?
Making Cloud decline Aerith’s date proposal has no instant effect on Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s story, and you’ll still meet up with her shortly to climb the clock tower with her and progress the story. However, that doesn’t mean that you should say no to her.
Cloud can build relationships with his teammates in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which, in turn, can affect portions of the story, depending on the strength of the bond. So, I would recommend answering “Sure, let’s” when Aerith asks Cloud out on a date, as this is the first time in the game that you can start strengthening his relationship with her – why start on a bad note?
Where to Find Aerith in Kalm – Exact Location
If you’ve yet to speak to Aerith in Kalm, you’ll find her outside of Maghnata Books in the southeast section of the village. To get there, start from the Mako tower in Village Center and cross the bridge to the east. Maghnata Books will be on your right, where you’ll spot Aerith at the top of some small stone steps.
