Is Foamstars Free To Play?

While Foamstars is not technically free-to-play, you’ll be able to claim it starting February 6, 2024, on PlayStation +. If you’re not subscribed, or you forget to claim the game before the next batch of PlayStation + titles that go live on March 5, 2024, you’ll need to purchase it at the retail cost of $29.99.

When we went hands-on with Foamstars, it seemed that the bones were good but it needed some extra time to make things right. There’s been plenty of development time since then, however, and it’s looking like Foamstars may be a splash hit for PlayStation fans after all, especially if they can claim it at no additional cost.

Does Foamstars Have A Paid Battle Pass?

One thing that seems to be rather nice about Foamstars is, that while it does have a Season Pass, you won’t need to pay extra to get the content. It appears that there is a Premium Pass available according to the official Foamstars webpage, you’ll still have the chance to unlock cosmetics and other items via the free Season Pass.

It seems the development team behind Foamstars is doing everything possible to make this the next big hit, from its colorful and eye-catching graphical style to the general flow of the gameplay, Foamstars looks like it may be more than meets the eye initially.
