Best Pals for Cooling at Your Base in Palworld

Regarding the best Pals for Cooling in Palworld, it’s important to note that only Ice-type Pals can handle this work suitability. You won’t find any other Pals with Cooling.

In the early game, especially in and around the Plateau of Beginnings starting zone, you’ll find plenty of Pengullet that can handle cooling tasks back at base. Eventually, however, you’ll want to upgrade, and as you progress across the land, you’ll find Pals from the other tiers to replace Pengullet for good.

Items That Require Cooling

There is only a small handful of items/buildings in the game that require Cooling, including:

  • Cooler Box.
  • Cooler.
  • Electric Cooler.
  • Refrigerator.
  • Snowman.

Without Cooling, these items do not function. You won’t receive the benefits they offer in the form of food preservation. Why a Snowman? You’ll want to build a Snowman somewhere near your Coolers or Refrigerators, as it increases the efficiency of Cooling.

Can You Manually Cool in Palworld?

Unfortunately, no. You cannot manually cool items in Palworld; only Ice-type Pals can tackle this work suitability. It’s unfortunate, especially in the early game, as you’ll spend plenty of time foraging for good and hunting Pals for their meat. It would undoubtedly help to ensure food remains fresh for longer with Cooling.
