Diablo 4 Season 3: How to Craft Governing and Tuning Stones

To craft Governing Stones and Tuning Stones, you must use Shattered Stone materials to make Stone Caches at any Jeweler in Sanctuary. When you bring Shattered Stone materials to a Jeweler, they will be able to craft some fresh Magic Stones for you to collect, but that doesn’t mean you can always choose the exact type that you want. Spending materials for random rolls is the name of the game.

Throughout Season 3 in Diablo 4, the Jeweler will be your main merchant for upgrading the Seneschal companion. The resources that the merchant uses will work in the same way that the Occultist uses Sigil Powder. First, you collect as many stones as you need, which will be placed in your material bag. Then you can spend them on one of two types of stones in the Season of the Construct.

How to Get Shattered Stone in Diablo 4

You can get Shattered Stone by killing enemy Constructs in any of the Vaults around Sanctuary, taking part in Arcane Tremors, or disassembling some of the new traps that are also found in Vaults. These methods all lead to more Shattered Stone materials, and if you want the most efficient drop, start looking for Elites.

Of course, you can start bringing your duplicates of Governing and Tuning Stones to the Jeweler for another boost to materials if you need it. However, the best use of extra stones is to fuse them to your main slots on the Seneschal companion. This is how you quickly level up all your stones so that you are ready for the late game in Diablo 4.

With your stones all set, start looking for some of the new unique items added to the game in Season of the Construct.
