Every Relic for Gauss Prime in Warframe

As with every Prime frame that releases, you’ll need four separate relics corresponding to four different parts of Gauss Prime. These relics and the Gauss Prime parts’ rarity are as follows.

Gauss Prime Blueprint – Axi B7 Uncommon Reward

  • Best Places to Farm:
    • Tyana Pass, Mars.
    • Hydron, Sedna.
    • Circulus, Lua.

Axi B7 offers up the Gauss Prime Blueprint in its Uncommon tier of rewards. Your best place to farm the relic would be in any of the three above locations, with Hydron, Sedna being the best choice if you also want to farm Affinity for your lower-level items. Just ensure you’re ready to get to the later stages of the mission if you want the relic. Once you have an Axi B7 or two, be sure to make it Flawless or even Radiant for the best chance of getting the Neuroptics.

Gauss Prime Neuroptics – Meso H5 Uncommon Reward

  • Best Places to Farm:
    • Oxomoco, Void.
    • Stribog, Void.
    • Ukko, Void.
    • Helene, Saturn.

For Gauss Prime’s Neuroptics, you’ll be looking to pick up the Meso H5 and snag the Uncommon reward, similar to the blueprint. Ukko, Void is the most efficient node of the above four due to it being a low-level Capture mission. This means it can be easily run and repeated over and over. From there, make it Flawless or Radiant like the Axi B7 above to have the highest chance of getting the Neuroptics.

Gauss Prime Chassis – Neo W1 Common Reward

  • Best Places to Farm:
    • Marduk, Void.
    • Ukko, Void.
    • Oxomoco, Void.
    • Circulus, Lua.
    • Piscinas, Saturn.

To snag a Gauss Prime Chassis, you’ll want to get the Neo W1 relic and grab its Common reward. While you can farm whichever mission you prefer, Ukko, Void reigns supreme again for being a Capture mission. It’s also a great way to kill two birds with one stone. Once you have a Neo W1, run it without upgrading it for the highest chance at a Gauss Prime Chassis.

Gauss Prime Systems – Lith G9 Rare Reward

  • Best Places to Farm:
    • Unda, Venus.
    • Gabii, Ceres.
    • Hepit, Void.
    • Stribog, Void.
    • Teshub, Void.

Finally, the Gauss Prime Systems can be picked up from Lith G9 as its coveted Rare reward. Hepit, Void is going to be your best friend by far thanks to the sheer speed and its Capture mission status. However, if you need both Gauss’ Prime Systems and Neuroptics relics, Stribog may be a better choice. Once you have some, don’t bother opening Lith G9s unless they’re Radiant. You’re wasting your time otherwise.

How to Use Gauss Prime Relics

Once you have the relics, you’ll want to make your way over to the Star Chart and select a Void Fissure mission. These are found under one of the menus in the top-right, specifically the one with the two intersecting lines into a helix. Once there, you’ll see a list of missions labeled as Lith, Meso, Neo, and Axi Fissure. Simply pick one of the missions, then select one of the above relics and make it the rarity mentioned.

Tip:

If you run the same mission with three other players who also have your relic, this will heavily increase the chances of getting the Gauss Prime part. You can find other players to run it within the Recruitment Chat, found at the bottom left of the screen.

Once in the mission, proceed as you normally would while looking out for Void Traces, found on the bodies of certain enemies. Collect 10 of those, and you’ll have enough to open the relic at the end of the mission. Once you and your squad has reached the end, you’ll be able to select a reward. With any luck, one will be a part of Gauss Prime.

All Materials Needed to Build Gauss Prime

We’re currently farming Gauss Prime’s parts as of writing, but we’ll update this post once we know the materials needed. If you get the blueprints and materials before coming back, you’ll need 12 hours to build each part, and 72 hours to build the main blueprint. Once that’s done, Gauss Prime will be yours.

How Does Gauss Prime Differ From Regular Gauss?

Gauss Prime is very similar to regular Gauss in a lot of ways, but two key differences can matter to some. These are higher Shields, increasing by 95 over the base value to 550/650, and Sprint Speed, which is increased from 1.4 to 1.5. These may not seem like much, but extra survivability and speed for a speedy frame are always nice. That shield increase also scales with Shield increase mods, thanks to them being percentage-based mods. As with any other Prime frame, you can also get a massive surplus of energy when going near Orokin Void Death Orbs, found exclusively in Void missions.

Is Gauss Prime Worth Grinding For in Warframe?

Gauss Prime is only worth it if you enjoyed regular Gauss. We almost always grind for Prime versions when available because the Warframes tend to be outstanding. Gauss Prime has excellent abilities like Thermal Sundor, excellent 550 shields, a solid passive ability that supercharges shield regeneration, and cool looks to boot. Keep in mind that you can also buy $60 for the Gauss Prime Access Complete Pack and get it quickly.
