What Is the Best Way to Get Exp in Palworld?

The best way to gain experience in Palworld is to catch Pals and take advantage of catch bonuses. You gain bonus experience each time you obtain a Pal for the first time until you reach ten of the same Pal. After this, you’ll still get EXP, but it’ll be at a reduced rate.

With that said, if you want to gain experience steadily and don’t mind some grinding, make plenty of Pal Spheres and start catching ten of every Pal so you can use this bonus to its full effect. You’ll quickly gain hundreds of EXP for the first, fifth, and tenth catch, allowing you to accumulate thousands in a short time.

A good strategy for getting plenty of EXP early on is catching ten of each Pal in the starting area. Ones like Chikipi, Lamball, and Cattiva are good ones to start with, as the bonuses you receive will give you a solid start toward snowballing your progress and venturing into higher-level areas quicker. From here, you’ll find plenty of other Pals to catch, many of which you can catch once for quick EXP boosts before collecting more spheres and completing your collection.

You’ll also passively gain small amounts of EXP as you mine, craft, and build structures. Although not much, these amounts will accumulate over time and, combined with what you get from catching Pals, will help you gain levels quickly to unlock more technology.
