Watch Dogs Slated For “All Home Consoles” This Holiday

A leaked document indicates we won't have to wait long for Ubisoft's hack-worthy masterpiece.

Ever since it was first unveiled last year at E3 2012, we’ve been intrigued by Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs, a refreshingly original adventure where you can use electronic devices at your disposal to get jobs done, such as creating a car wreck or distracting people so that you can sneak past.  And now, it appears we won’t have to wait long for it.

A leaked promotional document has indicated that the game is coming out just in time for the Christmas season, as it’s slated to release “holiday 2013”.  What’s more interesting, however, is that it still hasn’t been quite classified as a strictly next-gen affair, as it’s listed “available on all home consoles”.  Could this mean that the game is due not only for Wii U, but the new Xbox and PlayStation systems as well?

Ubisoft did confirm the 360 and PS3 editions, but that’s it for now.  You just have to wonder what the next step will be for this release.  We’ll provide you more details as we get them.
