How to Fix Disappearing Villagers in LEGO Fortnite

Where did they go?

It’s one thing when you can’t connect to your LEGO Fortnite world because then, at the very least, everything is still there in the background, but when everyone goes missing, it’s a problem. Here is how to fix disappearing villagers in LEGO Fortnite.

How to Fix LEGO Fortnite’s Disappearing Villagers

To solve the disappearing villagers bug in LEGO Fortnite, which causes everyone from your village to completely disappear, along with the Village Square, you must wait. Unfortunately, it’s a known bug, and no concrete workaround exists. Sometimes, logging out and back in can help respawn the villagers, but if the Village Square disappears alongside everything, it automatically resets your Village Level.

It seriously sucks to lose all of your current progress on the town, especially when you’ve spent so many resources and who knows how many hours upgrading the Village Square. Still, hopefully, the developer will implement a bug fix soon.

How to Get Around the Disappearing Villagers Bug in LEGO Fortnite

While, again, this isn’t a concrete fix for the disappearing villagers bug, it’s recommended that you retain multiple townships in LEGO Fortnite. If you spend time building up two or even three Village Squares, recruiting new villagers throughout each, then if one endures the bug, the others may be just fine.

It’s not a foolproof workaround, and it does require more effort on your part, but then you can just wander down the path to your second town and start making progress there.

In the meantime, watch for an update to LEGO Fortnite, as the developers should implement a fix. After all, the game is positively popping off on the Epic Games Store.

And hey, a second village may help you score more Brightcore.
