There are tons of optics to choose from in Warzone due to the carry forward system in Modern Warfare 3, and picking one can seem impossible. However, some sights are already popular and I’ll cover them in this guide.
Best Optics to Use in Warzone Season 1
The best optics to use in Warzone are the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x scope and the Nydar Model 2023. Most of the assault rifles and light machine guns you find other players using will have a Corio Eagleseye attached due to the zoom level and low level of visual recoil. The best optics are a mix of precision reticles, clarity of the picture, and the display of recoil on the weapon.
So far in Warzone Season 1, the Corio Eagleseye 2.5x is the most effective mid-range optic. The AIM OP-V4 was one of the best in the MW2 era, but we were able to tune the sight for more zoom back then. With attachment tuning gone, there is no way to increase the zoom on a standard sight. So the next best option is a 2.5x scope.

If you’re like me and you don’t like using scopes most of the time, you can still run a red-dot style sight. I prefer the Nydar Model 2023 for nearly all mid-range weapons in Warzone or Multiplayer. It has a fantastic picture and the visual recoil it displays is almost nonexistent. But if you want a cleaner dot sight, the MK. 3 Reflector is also a great choice.
With the meta still being tested in Season 1, I still encourage you to try out different optics for your loadout within the firing range. Sights tend to be subjective and you might find another option that you like more. Otherwise, stick to the Corio and the Nydar.
Make sure you’re attaching one of these optics to a meta weapon as well if you want the best results in Warzone.
