Shortly after beginning your journey in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you’ll have to escape your current location, including unlocking a few locked doors, and venture out into the open world of the Western Frontier. Let’s talk about how to open the door to the gym.
How to Open the Door to the Gym in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Unlocking and opening the door to the gym in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora requires interacting with the nearby electrical junction box and repairing it. This console is directly left of the door. You’ll find a glowing blue circle indicating where to select.
Don’t worry about completing any complicated minigames to open the door. Upon interacting with the junction box, you’ll repair it by combining two power source wires, opening the gym door and allowing you to progress through the rest of the quest. Although you can look around the room, you won’t find any valuables or alternate routes.
How to Escape the Gym
Upon entering the gym area, you’ll encounter two enemies you can either sneak past or defeat in combat. Since you don’t have any ranged weapons, you’ll have to use your fists. While it’s possible to beat them this way without too many issues, sneaking past will help you avoid conflict altogether if you prefer.
Fortunately, if you die at any point during this, you’ll respawn in front of the gym doors, allowing you to try again as much as you need.
If you prefer the sneaky route, you’ll want to jump down from the metal platform once the two guards turn away before hiding behind the stone wall on the gym’s left side. Stay behind the stone wall and wait for both guards to walk away before crouching behind the next wall and sneaking through the door before the guards find you.
From this point, if the guards catch you, you can run away without worrying about them. Now, you are one step closer to escaping TAP and entering the open-world environment.
