What are Operator Assault Kills in MW3?

Operator assault kills means that players will have to get kills with an assault rifle in any of the competitive multiplayer modes. That means the Campaign and Zombies modes are off-limits, and getting kills in those will not count towards any of the challenges that call for it.

While the default classes will contain assault rifles that could most likely complete some challenges, players should create their own classes to better tailor what they need for the challenge they are looking to do. The ability to create custom loadouts is unlocked at level four, which should only take players a few multiplayer matches to unlock.

The weekly challenges are filled with challenges that require Operator kills, and most may need a specific assault rifle or attachments to complete. These weekly challenges are great for players who need extra XP and want the new weapon, Aftermarket part, or weapon camo that it is tied to.

Players can view the weekly challenges in the Challenges menu, and are separated by week and game mode when they are available. Pay attention to what each challenge is asking for, as players may only need to set up their class one time to knock out multiple challenges. Some may ask to equip a specific assault rifle or attachments for any assault rifle, so it is possible for one kill to satisfy multiple requirements at once.
