It’s been a crazy road for Microsoft’s Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn live action series. With a $10 million budget in tow, it’s told a heck of a story that ties in with Master Chief’s return to the franchise; now the final chapter has been dropped.

Episode 5 is now available for viewing through the Machinima channel and you can check it out below. It focuses on a group of Corbulo Academy cadets, mainly Thomas Lasky, as they push right into the heart of the space war. John-117 also shows up, in case you’re interested.

The series as a whole totals five episodes and about 84 minutes. It’s as close to a live-action Halo flick as you’ll get at this point. If you missed any of it or just need to check it out on a TV screen, don’t worry. It’ll be released separately on Blu-Ray ard DVD December 4th. You can pre-order it here: http://www.amazon.com/Halo-Forward-Unto-Dawn-Blu-ray/dp/B009B8YZKS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351882786&sr=8-1&keywords=forward+unto+dawn and expect a few goodies to be included, just for you Halo fans.

Oh, and in case you needed a subtle reminder, Halo 4 drops November 6th.
