With each new season in Diablo 4, there is always a race to figure out which ones are the best, and nothing has changed about that in Season 2. To help you decide which class you’ll choose, I ranked them all in a Season of Blood tier list.

What is the Best Class in Diablo 4 Season 2?

Rogue and Necromancer are currently the best classes in Diablo 4 Season 2. Despite the nerfs to Vulnerable and Critical Strike damage, Rogue remains one of the best classes for nearly any stage in the game. With the Blood Mist build for the Necromancer, this deathly class also can be incredibly strong at any stage in the game.

For my own tier list, I’m taking into account the potential for endgame bosses, Nightmare Dungeons, acquiring builds, and how easy it is to level. You can find all the rankings below.

Diablo 4 Season 2 Class Tier List:

  • S-Tier: Rogue, Necromancer
  • A-Tier: Druid, Sorcerer
  • B-Tier: Barbarian

Druid would be higher on the list if it weren’t for the reliance on Unique items and a horrible leveling experience. Once the Druid gets a unique that it needs, there are three different builds that can be utilized to decimate end-game Nightmare Dungeons or bosses. Getting there is a different story though.

Barbarian also has a great end-game build in the Double Swing setup. But nearly every other build feels weak in comparison and the leveling process is also a slog. Meanwhile, the other three Diablo 4 classes cruise through the leveling process and only get stronger as you enter the end-game section of Sanctuary.

It’s also worth mentioning that the build you choose can completely change the tier list. But this is a great starting point for an overall selection in the Season of Blood.
