Is There A Way To Change The Time Of Day In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?

Unfortunately, if you’re hoping to recreate the iconic scene from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy with the webbed black suit and a sky full of rain, you’re out of luck for the time being. For unknown reasons, the developers at Insomniac Games removed the option to change the time of day whenever you would like, so you are stuck with whatever time and weather you currently have.

For aspiring shutterbugs, this can be especially frustrating. Let’s say for example you wanted to recreate the iconic shot from Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse with Miles Morales, where he’s plummeting off of a skyscraper. You’ll need to wait until the game says it can be nighttime, and only then can you recreate this photo in full detail. There is no other way around this for the time being.

We can only hope that Insomniac Games adds this feature back in the near future, as it’s a great tool to have, especially for those who love swinging around New York City during the nighttime. Until then, savor the times you have when the sun is down because you’ll never know when the chance will arise once again.

Be sure to swing on into our Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 section below to get your hands on plenty of helpful tips and tricks that’ll make your adventure throughout this revamped version of New York City all the more exciting.
