The new Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 follows in the same footsteps as the base game in terms of its music quality. They aren’t always memorable tracks, but the few moments you can remember tracks, they are incredibly memorable. One such track comes up during one of the bigger side quests for the DLC, though which song it is can be confusing. Here’s what the name of the song in Balls to the Wall is in Cyberpunk 2077.
What Song is in the Balls to the Wall Quest in Cyberpunk 2077?
The song played during Balls to the Wall in Cyberpunk 2077 is an extended version of the song Choke Hold, by Idris Elba and Mr. Kipper. The song is only about two minutes in the regular version, while it’s considerably longer to compensate for the much longer fight against the Voodoo Boys in Balls to the Wall. The song was released about a week prior to the DLC’s release and already has a few thousand views.
Funny enough, this isn’t the only song Idris Elba wrote for the DLC. Alongside Choke Hold, both his other new songs Rolla Coaster and Walk of Shame are also included. Both of them currently have fewer views than Choke Hold, though I’m more of a fan of Walk of Shame myself. Guess it depends on personal preference.
What About the Rest of the Music Used During the DLC?
As for any other songs you might hear while playing through Phantom Liberty, there’s an official Spotify playlist featuring a bunch of the other songs played throughout the expansion. Sadly, it doesn’t yet include the phenomenal credits song by Dawid Podsiadło, though that should come out in the coming weeks. Or at least, I hope it will.
