With the release of the Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, there’s a lot of new gear to find and collect for yourself. Tons of new weapons have been added with the update, though all of which will take up some amount of your overall carrying capacity. Thus, increasing it is likely a priority. Here’s how to get more item load capacity in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty.

How to Get More Carry Weight in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

The best way to increase item carry capacity in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty is by upgrading the Solo skill. Upon reaching ranks 5 and 25, you’ll increase your maximum carry capacity by 50 and 100 respectively. To level up the Solo skill, you’ll want to score kills while using close-range weapons like shotguns, LMGs, and various melee weapons.

Another method, recently added with the Phantom Liberty expansion, is the Carry Capacity Shards found within Dogtown airdrops. Whenever driving around Dogtown, you may randomly hear a strange noise with a plane flying by with an airdrop. Head to that airdrop and kill all the enemies there, then interact with the drop to secure to goods. Among most of these will be a Carry Capacity shard, increasing your max Carry Capacity by 2. These are endlessly farmable as a nice bonus.

Other than those two methods, you can also purchase the Titanium Bones Cyberware, found under the Skeleton tab at Ripperdocs. This will increase your Carry Capacity by a staggering 62%, along wih providing armor and melee damage. It will cost a pretty penny, but I’d argue it’s worth what you’re paying.

FInally, we have the Capacity Booster consumable, which can either be purchased at Medpoints around the city or found randomly in the world. This will increase your Carrying Capacity by 50% for 30 minutes, making it a solid choice for moments when you’re looking to farm stuff to sell or dismantle.
