As you play Payday 3, you’ll level up your infamy and gain skill points, but how many skill points can you get before you max out? Continue reading to discover that and how to level up and unequip your skills in Payday 3.
What is the Max Number of Skill Points You Can Have in Payday 3?
You can get a maximum of 21 skill points in Payday 3. As you level up your infamy, you’ll gain skill points every few levels until you reach the point limit. Note that you won’t gain a skill point every single time you level up. Since there are more skills than points to allocate, you cannot max out every tree, even if you are max level.
However, you can freely move skill points around. Refund skill points by unequipping skills and then reallocate the refunded skill point to a different skill. This will allow you to freely mess around with varying builds and find the skills that work best for you.
The max level in Payday 3 is Infamy Level 150. But you’ll gain your last skill point by level 100. You’ll likely have unlocked all weapons and upgrades by then as well. This makes the last 50 Infamy Levels in Payday 3 kind of useless, and more for bragging rights than anything else.
