The MW3 Weapons List in Full

Like past iterations in the series, Modern Warfare 3 will feature a broad selection of weapons. For instance, there are assault rifles, shotguns, handguns, and iconic sniper rifles that force people to camp in a single spot for the entire round without moving whatsoever. Here’s the full list that we know so far:

While many of the weapons in the game were included in past entries in the Call of Duty franchise, they’ve undergone name changes. For example, the MP5, an iconic submachine gun, is now called the LACH-9. It’s unclear why these firearms received new names, perhaps licensing issues, but they remain the same otherwise.

If you’re new to Call of Duty or just coming in fresh for Modern Warfare 3, then chances are you’ll want an ideal load to suit your playstyle and best any situation imaginable. The following weapons will prove quite effective in multiplayer, though balancing can change everything in a heartbeat.
