To make a wedding cake, you must cook a regular white cake before adding a 25 Simoleon wedding topper. After you cook your white cake, place it in the center of a table or kitchen counter and select the “Add Wedding Topper” option to turn it into a wedding cake. From here, you can bring it to any wedding event and begin your celebrations.

White cakes are available in the Sims 4 base game as a level one recipe, so don’t worry about waiting until you get to a specific point.

Depending on where you’re hosting your wedding, you may not have a stove nearby to bake the cake. The safest bet is to make it before the event begins and hold it in your character’s inventory until they arrive at the wedding. However, if you’re already at the wedding, you have two options: temporarily add a kitchen to the lot through the build menu or replan the wedding so it takes place at someone’s house.
