Armored Core 6: Which Decision to Make in Chapter 3 (AC6)

The branching paths start here.

For the first two chapters of Armored Core 6, all of the missions are linear in nature, but once you reach Chapter 3 in the main story, you have to make your first mission decision. Depending on what you choose, the missions themselves are entirely different, and the outcome can change your ending in the game.

Which Mission to Choose in AC6 Chapter 3

You should choose the “Eliminate the Enforcement Squads” mission in Chapter 3 of Armored Core 6. This decision leads to the True ending in AC6 and it also gives you far more COAM as a reward, allowing you to continue upgrading easily for the rest of the Chapter. But that doesn’t mean the decision has no negatives.

The other mission you can choose is “Destroy the Special Forces Craft” and compared to the Enforcment mission, it is much easier to complete. This also leads to the “good” ending in Armored Core 6, as well as the boss fight against AA-602 CATAPHRACT. So for some of you, there is much less of a headache on this path.

In the Enforcement Squads mission, you have to make it all the way to the boss without a single checkpoint. That means managing your ammo and your Repair Kits. If you die, then you have to start all over again. I managed to make it through but believe me, it wasn’t without tilting on multiple attempts.

Even if you complete the Enforcement Squads mission in Armored Core 6, you need to be careful about future mission decisions. This Chapter 3 decision leads to the “true” ending, but it also leads to the “bad” ending. Your choices afterward will dictate which one you get.
