The Sims 4 has been no stranger to death. The Grim Reaper is still active and busy in the franchise’s latest entry, as well as the ghosts of any Sims that have met their demise. However, one element that players have been looking for in the Sims 4 is the graveyard, a staple location in the Sims 2 and Sims 3 for players to engage in haunting shenanigans. If you miss hanging out with your friends among gravestones, here’s where to find the graveyard.
Finding the Graveyard in Sims 4
The Sims 4 base game does not include the graveyard, so players must purchase the Cats & Dogs or Snowy Escape expansion packs to access a functional graveyard. While some Sims 4 worlds have graveyard sights, those are only for viewing and not visiting. They are not functional in the same way as the ones in the Cats & Dogs and Snowy Escape packs. The advantage of having a functional graveyard, besides great goth-themed photo shoots, is Sims can mourn at the gravestones — or just hang out among them.
The graveyard in the Cats & Dogs pack is located in Deadgrass Isle, which can be found in Brindleton Bay. The quirky element of this graveyard is that instead of mourning dead Sims, your Sims can view the headstones of pets that have passed on. You might even have the chance to pet a ghost dog.

The graveyard in the Snowy Escape pack is located in Senbamachi, which resides in Mt. Komorebi. This graveyard is more traditional and allows you to grieve regular Sims. As a note, there isn’t a way to know what headstones belong to which Sims.
