With Fae Farm’s launch trailer released, fans get a final look at the fantastical world that they will soon find themselves immersed in. Whilst consisting of a less than two-minute duration, the trailer was jam-packed with a colorful display of features to look forward to when the game launches.
The talented team behind Fae Farm released the launch trailer on August 22, 2023.
The trailer begins with a wide shot, allowing many of the game’s mechanics to be featured simultaneously. Bug catching, fishing, and animal care are all depicted during the first moments. From here, we see the character chop wood and hammer rocks to collect items for crafting, which is then used to build a fence around player-grown crops seamlessly.
As previously mentioned by the developers during their livestream, the gameplay mechanics are streamlined to make the process as enjoyable as possible. The beforementioned fence construction is a great example, but also evident by how easy it is to customize your home and character.
Fae Farm’s magical experience extends to even its tool upgrades. With the player seen spinning around with a scythe, throwing an axe, and jumping with a pickax to produce more materials with less effort.

The sense of community is clear both through the vibrant cast of characters who call this world their home and the demonstration of how multiplayer works when working on the homestead. This element is one of the ones that stands out the most due to the fact that there’s no limit on what the second, third, or even fourth player can do to contribute to the game’s progression, no matter the time, season, or place.
Lastly, the trailer provided a glimpse into what combat is like in the game. Monsters based on real-life objects, such as treasure chests, cogs, shields, instruments, and more, will impede your progress through a dungeon. Magical spells are what stand between you and the elusive resources the dungeon offers.
Fae Farm is launching for Nintendo Switch and PC on September 8, 2023. Players can pre-order it now to receive adorable in-game items to start their adventure on the right foot.
