As of writing this, there is no official release date for Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.7. However, on June 11, 2023, CD Projekt Red released a statement detailing a need to update the game’s PC system requirements. The statement said, “These changes will take effect following the next update to the base game, no earlier than 90 days, and also apply to Phantom Liberty.”

Quick math shows that 90 days from June 11 is Saturday, September 9, 2023. Keep in mind that this date is when players can start expecting the update to come, not the actual date of the release. However, CD Projekt Red confirmed that the game’s major expansion Phantom Liberty will release on September 26, 2023. Assuming that these dates don’t change, along with the knowledge that the update is meant to support the Phantom Liberty expansion, Update 1.7 for Cyberpunk could be coming between September 9 and September 26.
