Planar Fissure Event Guide and Rewards in Honkai: Star Rail

Extra drops are always welcome

Honkai Star Rail Planar Fissure Event

Getting your end-game gear in gacha games is always an excruciating task, but they will sometimes make it easier for us with certain events. One of them in this batch is Honkai: Star Rail’s Planar Fissure, which helps players get extra Planar Ornaments from their Simulated Universe runs.

Much like Genshin Impact’s Ley Line Overflow or Mastery Overflow events, this is pretty much a straightforward event in which you spend your Immersifiers or Trailblaze Power inside the Simulated Universe to get double the rewards for the same value. Easy, quick and extremely useful. Here’s our guide for the Planar Fissure Event in Honkai: Star Rail.

How to Participate in the Planar Fissure Event in Honkai: Star Rail

All players who have unlocked Simulated Universe 3 can take part in it, which in turn requires reaching Trailblaze Level 30. From 08/02 to 08/09, you can use your Immersifiers or your Trailblaze Power to get double loot when obtaining Planar Ornaments.

To do so, just make a regular Simulated Universe run as usual. After reaching an Elite room, defeat the big meanies and claim your rewards from the white pod. Instead of getting the usual one or two 5-star Ornaments (depending on your Equilibrium Level), you can get up to six at once from a single reward pod depending on your Trailblaze Level.

The difference this time around is that instead of two double loot chances per day during five days, you now have up to x12 double drops which you can claim in a single day. You can pick them all at a single day or just gradually farm them at your own pace.

Each World has two different sets of Planar Ornaments, so farm for those that fit most of your character. Here’s a quick spreadsheet for how many 5-stars you get at the highest difficulty available in each level:

Equilibrium Level 2

No 5-stars can be obtained.

Equilibrium Level 3

  • Regular: 1 Planar Ornament
  • Planar Fissure: 2 Planar Ornaments

Equilibrium Level 4

  • Regular: 1 to 2 Planar Ornaments
  • Planar Fissure: 2 to 4 Planar Ornaments

Equilibrium Level 5

  • Regular: 2 Planar Ornaments
  • Planar Fissure: 4 Planar Ornaments

Equilibrium Level 6

  • Regular: 2 to 3 Planar Ornaments
  • Planar Fissure: 4 to 6 Planar Ornaments

And as you can see above, those rewards are quite powerful for gearing, so you should definitely spend some of your Power or Immersifiers on it. You can get up to four Immersifiers for free per week by simply entering the Simulated Universe, so if you save some from previous weeks, you can use them all whenever the event is up.

Not getting Jades in an event might be a bummer for some people, but having no gear for them is even worse. I hate the feeling of waiting weeks for a banner only for my character to hit like a wet noodle, so while I’ll definitely save up for certain upcoming banners (I’m coming for you, Kafka), I won’t neglect the characters I already own.
