Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance has finally been dated by Konami; it’s coming to North America on February 19th, two days before Japan and Europe.
The date was revealed at the end of a trailer released for this week’s Gamescom expo in Cologne (see below). The new video contains a lot of footage recycled from the E3 trailer but there’s a typically odd bit of Metal Gear humor tacked on with the date. Hideo Kojima tweeted a picture of a Gamescom placard containing the date.
For the uninitiated: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a hack and slash action spin-off from the main series starring the white-haired ninja Raiden. It’s being developed by Platinum Games, which was the company responsible for fantastic games such at Vanquish, MadWorld and Bayonetta.
