The Sybaris' much, much younger brother.

If you’re looking for a game with tons of weapons that feel functionally different from one another, Warframe is the game for you. There are hundreds of weapons that you can get through a hundred more different methods, all of which have their quirks that make them stick in your mind. Take the Acceltra for example, an assault rifle that fires small rockets instead of standard ammunition. Some lesser-known weapons can be a little harder to grab, though their use can sometimes share the same fate. Here’s how to get the Zylok in Warframe.

Where to Find the Zylok Pistol in Warframe

The Zylok is available as part of Baro Ki’Teer’s rotating inventory. Every two weeks during the weekends, Baro will reside in one of the game’s many relays (marked with a small symbol on your star chart), where he’ll offer up a list of random wares that often include exclusive weapons, Primed mods, and augment mods.

If he happens to be selling the Zylok pistol, you’ll need to pay 500 Ducats (his currency, earned through trading Prime parts) alongside 200,000 Credits. Once you drop that hefty price, the Zylok will be yours. If you’re not the type to wait around for Baro to return and sell the weapon you want, you can purchase unranked Zyloks from other players for a staggering 100 Plat a piece.

Is the Zylok Worth Getting in Warframe?

The Zylok is quite the rare pistol and functions similarly to its rifle brother the Sybaris. It offers up some high Slash damage and Status Chance, though has a lower fire rate and Critical Chance to counteract the buffs. The weapon is fired either through tap firing to fire off two shots or through holding down the fire button and releasing it to fire a precision shot. While this does offer a unique way of managing ammo, the Zylok is unfortunately considered to be quite mediocre by the community. I’d suggest only investing in the weapon if you consider the Sybaris to be a fun and great weapon. Even then, I wouldn’t bring it into Steel Path.
