Though its release is still months away, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is shaping up to be one of Namco’s better games for the 2013 gaming season, filled with delightful visuals created by the developers at Level-5, working closely with Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli to build a breathtaking world for it. And if you pre-order now, you’ll be able to take even more advantage of it.
Pre-ordering the game through Gamestop in the U.S. (or EB Games in Canada) will score you an awesome steel book case, in which you can store the game and show off to your friends. (You can even put it next to your prized DVD copies of Howl’s Moving Castle and Spirited Away, if you so choose.) Meanwhile, if you go through Amazon, you’ll gain access to a special griffy familiar character, who was not available previously in the Japanese release of the game. The choice is yours.
Either way, don’t miss this game. We’ll have a preview for you soon as it nears its January 22, 2013 release date.
