Where to Spend Unearthed Fragrant Coins in WoW Dragonflight

Just don't ask where I found it.

If you’ve spent much time at all playing WoW Dragonflight’s newest patch, 10.1, your bags are probably overflowing with “Blizzjunk.” Fragments, fragments of fragments that are combined into fragments, weirdo keys, dust, you name it – Blizzard just loves putting stuff in our bags nowadays. Finding out where each of these obtuse items is used can become an issue, especially when the vendor doesn’t even have a minimap icon! Let’s learn where to spend one of these items, Fragrant Coins, in Dragonflight, together.

You’re looking for a blue Niffen named Spinsoa in Loam, Zaralek Caverns. He’s located just outside the main, circular building (at about 10-o-clock, or the Northwestern side). Above is an image of him and his uh, mole-posse, and below is an image of his inventory.

As you can see – you can exchange Unearthed Fragrant Coins for one of four chests, but only once per week. These contain either a small or large number of, you guessed it, Shadowflame Fragments. These are combined to upgrade armor, but be sure to check which kind you need before you make any purchases.

You can also purchase Coveted Baubles, which are used to buy cosmetic items like mounts and pets from Saccratros in Loam. I’d recommend skipping out on buying any of these until you’ve made your chest purchases for the week, especially with Season 2 of Mythic+ and the new Raid dropping tomorrow. You’ll want all the gear upgrades you can afford if you’re planning on tackling these.

If you’re worried about the amount of Blizzjunk clogging up your bags, the best thing to do is spend it til’ it’s gone. Otherwise you’ll end up like me – knee-deep in the next expansion and still wondering what I use Unearthed Fragrant Coins for.
