Below are the five tasks you will have to finish for the Woeful Wednesday Challenge:

  • Be born a female in New Jersey
  • Become a mortician
  • Have a cello skill level of 100%
  • Own a haunted Victorian house
  • Scare someone to death

Being a Female Born in New Jersey

To start the challenge, create a new female character born in New Jersey. To do this, set your gender to female, country to the United States and “place” to Newark. Since Newark is a city in New Jersey, it will count toward the challenge, allowing you to knock out the first task!

Becoming a Cello-Playing Mortician

From a young age, you will be able to start playing instruments by going into Activities, choosing Mind and Body and selecting instruments. Here, you will find all kinds of options, including the cello! Continue playing it every year until the bar reaches 100%.

Along the way, make sure you maintain high smarts as you age up. Once you graduate high school, apply to university and select Biology as your major. If it does not appear right away, you can age up and try again or close and reopen the BitLife app. High smarts increase your chances of acceptance and getting a scholarship, so read plenty of books!

After completing your four years in university, head into the full-time job list and look through it until you find the Mortician position. Apply for the job, pass the interview to become a mortician, and finish the next task!

Owning a Haunted Victorian House

Owning a haunted house, particularly a Victorian one will require some luck and plenty of money. After working as a mortician for a while and saving up some money, head into Activities again and scroll down to shopping. Go into the real estate stores and look for a property labelled “Haunted Victorian House”. If you do not see one, you can close and reopen the app again or age up and check the list.

While they are not as expensive as mansions or farms, they often go for several hundred thousand dollars, so make sure you have some money saved up! Once you buy it, be careful when interacting with ghosts in the house and try not to upset them.

Scaring Someone to Death

The challenge’s last and arguably most difficult part is to scare someone to death. You can do this to any random person, but it has a very low chance of succeeding and often results in you getting caught by the police or the victim retaliating. In extreme cases, they may even kill you back!

To scare someone to death, head back into Activities, pick Crime and choose murder. Pick scare to death as the method and any victim you would like. From here, you are mostly relying on luck for the attempt to actually work without you dying in the process.

Once you finish the final task, you will complete the Woeful Wednesday Challenge in BitLife!
