Flying around the world of Hogwarts Legacy is one of the best and quickest ways to travel, especially to places where you have yet to activate any Floo Flame teleports. However, early on, your broom flight may sometimes feel a tad slow. Fortunately, you can upgrade your broom not once, not twice, but three times to gain maximum speed and stability. How to Upgrade your Broom in Hogwarts Legacy
Shortly after you take your first flying class and speak to Albie Weekes, the broom merchant, for the first time, he’ll tell you to race against Imelda Reyes and beat her time to unlock a new upgrade. Head to the Quidditch field, speak to Imelda and fly through the rings to complete the broom trial.

As you race around the course, your objective is to fly through each of the 22 rings and collect the gold orbs to maintain maximum speed. If you miss any rings, you’ll gain a small time penalty. However, if you beat Imelda’s time, you’ll be able to return to Albie Weekes to unlock your first upgrade!
Once you head back to Spintwitches Sporting Needs and speak to Albie, he’ll tell you to wait for an update on the broom upgrade. Shortly after, he’ll inform you of the upgrade, which you can purchase from his shop for 1,000 Gold. From here, completing more Broom Trials will allow you to gain more upgrades.
